Lis Wiehl (born August 19, 1959) was born on 19 August 1961. She is an American author and former legal analyst for Fox News.
She is an adjunct professor in Law in New York Law School and was previously Associate Professor at University of Washington Law School. She's also provided legal comments on Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factual as well as National Public Radio. She's appeared as a guest on The O'Reilly Factor and Your World with Neil Cavuto. The Kelly File is a show with Megyn Kelly Lou Dobbs and Megyn Kelly, as well as the Imus Morning Shows.
Wiehl was raised in Yakima, Washington, and graduated from West Valley High School in Yakima. She has the degree of Bachelor of Arts in English from Barnard College and an MA in Literature (University of Queensland) as well as an JD in law from Harvard Law School.
Wiehl was a prosecutor in the past at the US Attorney. The correspondent was a lawyer on the NPR program All Things Considered. She served as "the Chief Investigative Counsel for Democrats in the House Judiciary Committee during Clinton's impeachment." She was a law professor as a tenured professor at the University of Washington School of Law Seattle which she was the manager of the Trial Advocacy Program from 1995 through 2001. She worked as an analyst for Fox News from 2001 until 2017.
