Kirsten Simone Vandgsness was an American actress, playwright and police procedural crime drama series "Criminal Minds" that gained fame after she played 'Penelope Garcia.' The actress has also been featured in its two spin-off shows "Criminal Minds Suspect Behavior' and "Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders..' Kirsten Vangsness has also appeared on other television series as well. While she is primarily a TV actress however, she also played some minor parts in movies since her debut in the television show business in 1998.
