Niykee, who has had many a hectic few years which included getting picked by Snoop to join Snoop at the YouTube Brandcast May 2013 Niykee maintains a consistent songwriting schedule despite all this. She is now a magnet for aspiring producers, she regularly combs through beats sent her way and discovers that a lot of them end up sparking song ideas. I can tell if a beat is excellent after just five seconds. Then I'll be able to get a tune in my head and start creating right away, she adds. My guitar sits on the back of my porch and I just let my thoughts flow. Most of the time, it's done in less than thirty minutes. Niykee has found that her memories of pain provide endless sources of ideas. "Even even if I'm not writing about my personal life the grief of losing my sister and the pain of my childhood experiences are integrated in my lyrics," she says. This influences my music and creates a deeper understanding behind all things that's one the most important things that I value. It is important to me to realize that I'll be able to hear any of my music 20 years down the road and feel proud of the things I wrote.
