Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is an American journalist for the broadcast industry. She is best known as anchor of the CNN morning program At This Hour. Her previous roles included co-host for the CNN morning programs on weekdays, New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan was one of CNN the award-winning news coverage of the 2016 and 2012 presidential election. She has also served as a correspondent for Congress based in Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. Bolduan has covered legislative and congressional activities, like the talks to raise the ceiling on federal debt and super committee discussions. In addition, Bolduan worked as a general-assignment correspondent covering topics like that of the Christmas Day terrorist attack of 2009, the Supreme Court's decision regarding Obamacare in addition to the implementation in 2009 of the stimulus plan.
