Beth Hart is a Los Angeles native and blues-singing, rock vocalist. She was a street entertainer and was first noticed by Immortal in the year 1995. Her outspoken, raw persona, musicianship, and emotional live shows attracted attention. "Hart is the definition of a woman who is natural," wrote Chuck Taylor in the October 2, 1999 issue of Billboard magazine. She's "bawdy and funny, chatty and free-wheeling with her choice of spicy words. However, that's nothing compared to her stage presence. At other times, she's seated at her place in front of the piano or on the stage with her legs stretched over the chairs and her voice so delicate and painful, it's difficult to tell if she's going cry or if you'll.
